Proyek Donat

Donat Kentang / Potato Doughnut Dough - Steamed and Baked - 30 Oct 2014

Yesterday morning i asked my mom to help me making some potato puree, 100 grms, for this recipe, and right after i arrived home, i started to weight and prepare every ingredients and knead the dough. Right away. I mean to make a half of the recipe, and what should be deep fried, i will steam and bake. So i follow the steps for kneading, until resting the dough for 2nd fermentation, and here is the result. 3 beautiful steamed potato buns and 12 beautiful fluffy baked potato buns. I didn't take any picture for the steamed ones, because it looked the same as all other steamed buns, plus i didn't put any filling in it. So here is the picture.. 

The recipe i used for this buns are the ones i got from one of my favourite website, just try and taste by Ms Endang Indriani, and other is from a blogspot blog, called resepq. Almost the same recipe, and the dough can be fried or steamed. I made half and i got 15 buns of 40 grms of dough for each.

For this recipe, i adjusted the water as i think needed for the dough. Original recipe also suggest it. My dough is not so hard to knead, not too dry and not too wet. It's a nice dough and the result also is ok. This morning i steamed both the steamed ones and the baked ones, and found it still really good to eat. Thanks and enjoy !!
